VADrivingTest.com is an independent study site run by Jamie Carter and the VADrivingTest.com Team. It is not the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles, and nobody writing for the site is a DMV examiner. Using the site means you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy.

What the site is

Practice questions, guides, and office notes are study aids. A score on this site does not issue a learner’s permit or a driver’s license, and it is not a DMV result. Rules that tell you what to do on the road should be checked against the Virginia Driver’s Manual, the Virginia DMV website, or the Code of Virginia. If those sources and a page on this site disagree, follow the official source.

Accounts and the ad-free pass

You can practice without an account. A free account saves progress on our side instead of only in the browser. The optional ad-free pass is a one-time $4.99 payment processed by Stripe. It only removes ads. It is not a subscription, and it does not unlock a separate question bank. Study features stay free either way.

Acceptable use

Do not use the site to break the law, to scrape the question bank in bulk, or to present this site as an official DMV service. Do not post someone else’s personal information in a contact message. We may refuse or end access that interferes with the site or with other people using it.

Ads and links

Free pages may show advertising. Some pages link to a driver-improvement course or to DMV’s list of licensed driver training schools. A sponsored link is marked. A commission, if one is paid, does not change the study material. Details are in the privacy policy and the editorial policy.
